PaxRig (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website paxrig.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website or use our services.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you fill out our contact form, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Service interest
  • Any additional message content you include

When you book a discovery call through our scheduling tool, we collect your name, email address, and any information you provide during the booking process.

Information Collected Automatically

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics platform. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors across websites. The analytics data we collect is aggregate only and includes:

  • Page views and visit duration
  • Referral sources (how you found us)
  • Browser and device type (in aggregate)
  • Country-level location (not precise location)

No personal information is collected through our analytics. Plausible is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR without requiring cookie consent banners.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and contact form submissions
  • Schedule and conduct discovery calls
  • Provide the consulting services you request
  • Send follow-up communications related to your inquiry
  • Understand website usage in aggregate to improve our content and services

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Period.

We share your information only with the following service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Formspree — processes contact form submissions. Formspree acts as a data processor and does not use your data for any purpose other than delivering form submissions to us.
  • Cal.com / Calendly — handles discovery call scheduling. Your booking information is used solely to schedule and manage your appointment.
  • Plausible Analytics — provides aggregate website analytics. Plausible does not collect personal data and all analytics data is anonymous.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions and related correspondence are retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected, typically for the duration of our business relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for follow-up and record-keeping.

Analytics data is retained in aggregate form by Plausible Analytics and cannot be tied to individual visitors.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@paxrig.com.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Opt out of any marketing communications
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@paxrig.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Cookie Policy

Our website uses minimal cookies. Because we use Plausible Analytics (which is cookieless), we do not set any analytics cookies on your device.

If you book a discovery call, the scheduling tool may set functional cookies necessary for the booking process. These are essential cookies and are not used for tracking.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting technologies.

PaxRig is based in Virginia and complies with the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. Under the VCDPA, Virginia residents have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal data
  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
  • Delete your personal data
  • Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, readily usable format
  • Opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling

We do not sell personal data, process personal data for targeted advertising, or engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. To submit a VCDPA request, contact us at info@paxrig.com.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete that information.
